As the name suggests, Fit4Home is a manufacturer of fitness equipment designed for home use.  They have an outstanding reputation for making high-quality products, often aimed at beginners and newbies, available at reasonable and competitive prices.  therefore, the F4H Aerobic Cycling Bike, like many of their other pieces of equipment, provides beginners with all they need to start working out at home without breaking the bank. Is the F4H Olympic ES702 Intensive Aerobic bike as impressive as it sounds on paper?

  • and monitor with 6 functions displayed

The F4H Olympic ES207 Bike is suitable for those new to working out at home

All in all the F4H ES207 Aerobic bike is a basic model when it comes to the features.  However, for the extremely affordable price, it is hard to argue with the value it provides.

Easy To Assemble And Use

As you’d hope with any home fitness equipment, the F4H Olympic S207 is very easy to assemble.  At just 33Kg it is a perfectly light model – something you will be looking for in an exercise bike you aim to use at home.  It features a sturdy 10kg flywheel which helps provide you with a versatile experience.  Although the digital display is fairly basic, it can still be used to automatically monitor metrics such as your speed, distance time and heart rate (pulse); though, it is probably best taking the calories reading with a pinch of salt as it may not be the most accurate on the market.

F4H have ensured that even though it is a fairly basic model, designed for casual beginners who are not looking for an all-singing, all-dancing bike; it still has fully adjustable magnetic resistance.  While the numbers may not be included on the dial to indicate the resistance level, you can still fiddle with it to find the right level of resistance desired for your workout.  With an adjustable seat and bottle holder, F4H have your comfort taking care of – though it is not recommended that you spend excessive amounts of time on this type of vehicle anyway.

Highlighted Feature: Smooth And Near-Silent Running

Considering the relatively low price at just under £100, the fact that the chain driven flywheel produces a near silent and smooth motion is worth noting.  There is nothing worse than purchasing a piece of gym equipment for your home and discovering that it is far too noisy and disruptive for your neighbours.  The ES207 is a great choice for night owls and early birds who like to workout in unsociable hours.

The Pros

  • Digital monitor that displays various metrics
  • Fully adjustable magnetic resistance levels
  • Adjustable seat and bottle holder
  • Silent and smooth running chain-driven flywheel

The Cons

  • Lack of freewheel in the pedals. When you stop suddenly, the pedals continue to turn.
  • Simple design, could do with a bit of styling on the frame

Is The F4H Olympic ES207 Bike Right For Me?

Well-designed for beginners and those interested in working out at home who have a limited budget, the ES207 is great for someone looking to work out a little at home.  The basic digital display gives you enough in terms of metrics to show you if you are progressing well enough and its lightweight design with near-silent running flywheel make it an attractive purchase.  If you are interested, however, in a more intensive workout or have progressed beyond beginner level – you may want to look at something that packs more a punch such as the JLL IC300
